What is a Summer University?

When you go somewhere with AEGEE you will never go as a tourist, you will come as a friend.
The summer universities (SU) of AEGEE is a unique possibility to discover the language and the culture of a country together with students from most countries in Europe and from all kinds of faculties. A SU is not a university in the usual sense, but a two week long event that is arranged by students for students. There are several different kinds of SU’s and they all have different contents and compositions. This summer there will be arranged more than 70 different SU’s. There are quite surely several that will suit you – just have a look at the course descriptions on the official homepage for all summer universities. You are welcome to attend our meetings for more information or read the official homepage.

Duration: 1-4 weeks.

Price: From 140 euros, exact price depends on how long the summer university lasts. The
price includes accommodation, at least 2 meals per day, excursions and parties.
The travels to and from your SU you will arrange and pay yourself. Read more
about what is included and how you will be accommodated in the course description
for each SU.

Number of participants: 15-50.

Accommodation: With other AEGEE members, gyms, hostels, tents.
